Structure of Formal Emails
A formal email must include the following elements :
- your own email address (From: klaus.rosmanitz@gmail.com)
- email address of the recipient (To: office@google.com)
- date (Date: Dec. 19th, 2022)
- subject - what your email is about (Subject: Application for an Instructor's Job)
- salutation (Dear Managing Editor, Dear Mr Smith, Dear Madam)
- introduction (I'm writing to apply for the position of secretary in your firm)
- main paragraphs
- conclusion (I hope you will consider my application)
- close ( Yours faithfully, Yours Sincerely)
